MN asks all to reply to e-mail re turnover event at his house on 16 June with rain day of 23rd
JB polls club on desire to participate in a Wednesday breakfast club at Meadowvale High
DS suggests that we partner with Meadopwvale club on this
JB there will be a planning meeting in September, school is open to doing one more day
JJ wants to understand funding requirements and staffing req'd.
JB offers to chair project but only if dealing with Meadowvale High
DS presents letters of thanks from Settler's Green public school re dictionary projects...briefs cathy on program and invites her to contact him for additional info.
DS points out regarding Lobsterfest, that if we all took 20 tickets now and committed to selling them over the coming year, we would be making $6000 profit at the next event.
Cathy Mourtos tells us about her club in Kingston and describes their two current fundraisers, a tv auction and a talent showcase which involves schools and community at large. both raise total of $20,000..further describes international programs they support, ie. a doctor doing spinal bifeda operations in Kenya and a 'mason stove' project in Guatemala.
