Meeting called to order at 7am.
Present: M. Nadler, G. Pech, J. Bryce, W. Stanley, S. Brown, D. Scheerer, B. Crawford, A. Baksh.
Guests: Nina Tangri, George Podbereski (Chair of N. Tangri's campaign).
Absent: R. Sugimura, J. Joseph, J. Kitchen, J. Diggle.
Meeting began with mention of the passing of PDG Robert " Bob" Watson.
No news on membership front per J. Bryce.
S. Brown will advise with respect to schedule for classification talks.
No change to finances per W. Stanley.
Fundraising: Chairs to report weekly on progress. D. Scheerer requested 10 minutes next week to address the club with respect to Poker event. Members urged to seek out donations in the form of items for our Raffle event. Club agreed to pursue "Night of 1,000 Dinners". Proposed that Dale can supply food. Club would supply wine / labour. This can be helpful as a fundraising event and tool to increase membership. Dates / details TBD.
Nina Tangri, Conservative candidate for Mississauga-Streetsville in the upcoming provincial election, addressed the club outlining her background and the John Tory platform.
G. Pech's number called in 50 / 50. Drew white ball.
